Casava paste was the resist traditionally used in Yoruba indigo dyed adire textiles. Nike, one of Nigeria’s foremost artists, is credited with introducing the more versatile wax resist as well as narrative content into the Yoruba fiber arts.
Wax batik is a favorite medium of many Osogbo artists today.

Original artwork will be packaged and shipped to you within three to five business days after you’ve made your purchase. You’ll receive a tracking number for your shipment to inform you when your product will arrive. Our insurance requires a signature on your end when receiving your artwork.
New Mexico online orders, we offer free shipping or local pick up.
Sales tax is automatically applied to your order if you are ordering from New Mexico.
International orders:

Our policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase delivery, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange for original fine art, such as paintings and jewelry. We do not except returns for giclee prints and gift cards.
To complete your return, we require a receipt of proof of purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non refundable. We recommend you should use a trackable shipping service and purchase shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
