Black Bear Butte (Print)

A family of three American black bears (Ursus americanus) piled on top each other. Black bears are found through most of Alaska, Canada and the U.S., down as far south as northern Mexico. Black bears are typically solitary animals, except when in family groups of mothers and cubs or in pairs during the mating season.
