Katrina Howarth – Sea Glass Lane

Katrina Howarth was born in Scotland in 1973, and has lived in Ayrshire, Scotland; Elton Village in Cambridgeshire, England; and in Fort William on the western Scottish Highland coast. In 1995, she received a degree in ceramics from the Glasgow School of Art in Edinburgh, Scotland. Howarth makes landscapes and still life oil paintings that use bright, light pastels to fill each piece with an uplifting sense of warmth and whimsy, creating a celebration of home and family. The artist is represented by galleries in Birmingham, Alabama and Santa Fe, New Mexico and has had her work published in Southwest Art Magazine, Shoutout HTX, and British Vogue. Howarth currently lives and works in Galveston, Texas and Taos, New Mexico.
