Description

A warm golden citrine cabochon, smooth and sun-bright, cradled in the inner curve of an electroformed copper crescent. The moon holds the light. This ring is small in scale and large in presence, the kind of piece you put on in the morning and feel all day. Citrine is one of those stones that earns its meaning, warm, energizing, and genuinely uplifting worn close to the skin. The open adjustable band means it fits a wide range of sizes and settles comfortably on any finger you choose for it.

Citrine is associated with warmth, abundance, creative energy, and joy. It is a solar plexus chakra stone, connected to confidence, clarity, and personal power. November birthstone. Wear it when you need to feel lit from within.

Why Citrine

Natural citrine is a variety of quartz ranging from pale golden yellow to deep amber orange, found primarily in Brazil, Madagascar, and the Congo. Its warm color comes from trace amounts of iron in the crystal structure. Citrine is one of the few stones that does not accumulate negative energy, which is part of why it has been called the merchant’s stone and a stone of manifestation across many traditions. It is also the November birthstone. No mystical claims. Just a genuinely warm and luminous stone with a meaning that fits real life.

Citrine Crescent Moon Ring: Materials & Specifications

  • Stone: Natural citrine, 4mm round smooth cabochon, warm golden yellow to orange, polished domed surface
  • Setting: Electroformed copper crescent moon face, textured antique copper surface with organic oxidized finish. The copper cradles the stone directly in the inner curve of the crescent.
  • Metal: Electroformed copper with antique finish, warm copper tones with dark oxidized recesses
  • Band: Open adjustable band, fits approximately US sizes 5 through 9. Custom sizes US 4 through 15 available.
  • Origin: Handcrafted in Santa Fe, New Mexico

How This Handmade Citrine Moon Ring Is Made

Each citrine is hand-selected for its warm color and smooth dome before the copper crescent is built up around it through an electrolytic electroforming process. The copper grows around the stone and setting organically, creating a textured surface that is entirely unique to each piece. The antique finish deepens the warmth of the copper and brings out the contrast between the metal and the glowing citrine.

A Note on Stone Variation

Citrine is a natural stone and each cabochon will vary slightly in depth of color, from pale golden yellow to warm amber orange. Your ring will be similar to the one shown but entirely one of a kind.

Care

Citrine can fade with prolonged exposure to strong sunlight, so store away from direct light when not wearing. Remove before swimming, bathing, or applying lotions and perfumes. Store dry. The antique copper finish will develop a natural patina over time, deepening the character of the piece.

Gift Packaging

Ships gift-ready in natural packaging with a handwritten note card. Add a personal message in the order notes at checkout.

  • Processing: Made to order, approximately one week.
  • Shipping: USPS First Class with tracking.
  • Returns: 30 days, unworn, in original packaging. Buyer pays return shipping.

Shipping Policy

SHIPPING POLICY

Pieces at Blackbird & Sage Studio are handcrafted in Santa Fe, some are made to order. Below are some of the current processing times before the piece is ready to ship.
  • Ready Made items ship out in 1 - 3 business days - these include most necklaces, beaded bracelets, ready made and ready to ship rings, & key chains.
  • Made to Order items ship in about a week - these are most rings, & some earrings & necklaces.
  • Bracelets and detailed pieces are more labor intensive and require a longer production time - they generally ship out in 7 - 14 days but check the listing for specific processing and shipping dates.
  • Processing times are generally listed in each item description.
All orders will be shipped with an accompanying tracking number.   DOMESTIC (US) ORDERS
  • Free Shipping - Orders over $75 are sent USPS First Class Ground Advantage at no charge.
  • Shipping - Orders under $75 are charged by weight. Methods and rates vary and chosen by the customer at checkout.
  • Upgraded Shipping - Available at checkout. Rates are automatically calculated by the shipping carrier so you are never overcharged for shipping.
ORDERS & ADDRESSES All orders are shipped to the address that you provide. Please verify your address carefully during checkout. For those instances where a purchase has been made but the shipping address is incorrect, please send a message to hello@blackbirdsagestudio.com ASAP. For your protection, your order will be cancelled and refunded so that you can reorder with the correct address.

Refund Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at hello@blackbirdsagestudio.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 245 Casados St, Apt A, Santa Fe, NM, 87501. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Return shipping labels incur a flat rate of $5. You can always contact us for any return question at hello@blackbirdsagestudio.com.

Damages and issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Exceptions / non-returnable items Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on custom made, custom commission, sale items or gift cards. Made-to-order items from standard listings are eligible for return. Custom commissions, specific stone requests, and special orders are non-returnable. Exchanges The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. If items from a promotional bundle are returned, the order may be recalculated without the promotional discount.   European Union 14 day cooling off period Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
