Description
This piece captures the exact moment a casual stroll became a turning point. When we visited Santa Fe for the very first time together, walking down San Francisco Street toward the Plaza, something shifted.
The brilliant, endless skies above the historic Adobe architecture didn’t just feel new—they felt familiar. They spoke directly to my Caribbean spirit, calling out an undeniable invitation to stay. We listened, and eventually, we made this beautiful place our home.
San Francisco Street is a path walked by thousands, but this particular stroll belongs to us. Through thick, sculptural palette knife strokes and a vivid palette of warm ochres and striking blues The Skies That Called Us Home is a celebration of that first spark. It is a visual memory of Santa Fe that stays with you long after the walk is over.
