This adobe home is stylized after the Craftsman architecture of the time. Its pilars made of river rock an indication that it was close to the Santa Fe river. The Painted adobe steps characteristic of the adobe construction. All these contrasting textures drew me to this home. The snow laden the canopies but also coated them in a softness of white making the shelter of the portal cold but the light was on inside, welcoming. Also, imagine the critters snuggling under the insolated vegetation. They too will be cozy.
“Repecho” is a limited edition of 200, Hand Pulled by the Artist. The image size is 6 3/8″ x 4 3/8″ on a 100% rag paper, all titled, number and signed by the artist below the image border. The etching has paper boarders and is sent shrink wrapped or framed.
These etchings have been documentaries of our Abodes and their history lies on its construction. It is also my way of including us people in the landscape.
