Description

This decorative piece is a collaboration between Santa Fe ceramic artist Angela Smith Kirkman who threw the form on a potter’s wheel and native artist Zelda Garcia who painted the design with a brush made from the yucca plant, the manner traditional in her ancestorial home Acoma, New Mexico. Her designs on this vessel symbolize pueblo homes and rain clouds.
