Description
Yucca Pitcher: This decorative pitcher is a collaboration between Santa Fe ceramic artist Angela Smith Kirkman who threw the form on a potter’s wheel and native artist Zelda Garcia of Acoma Pueblo who painted the design with a brush made from the yucca plant in the manner traditional to her ancestorial home. Zelda’s designs on this vessel symbolize yucca, pueblo homes, and the preciousness of water.
