Description
Raw amethyst in deep violet, arranged in a V and set in electroformed silver. The cool silver pulls the purple of the amethyst toward blue at certain angles, deepening its character. The oxidized recesses between stone cups give the ring texture and contrast that a plain silver finish would flatten out. This is a February birthstone ring with real presence.
Amethyst is associated with calm, clarity, and inner strength. It is the birthstone for February and is connected to the crown chakra. Wear it when you need to feel clear-headed and grounded.
Why Amethyst
Amethyst is a variety of quartz colored by iron and trace elements, ranging from pale lilac to deep violet depending on origin and concentration. It is found on every continent, with notable deposits in Brazil, Uruguay, and Zambia. The name comes from the ancient Greek amethystos, meaning not intoxicated, a reflection of its long association with calm and clarity. It is the birthstone for February. No mystical claims. Just a beautiful stone with a meaning that fits real life.

How This Handmade Amethyst Ring Is Made
Each stone is hand-selected for color depth and character before the ring is built up around it through an electrolytic copper electroforming process. The copper grows directly around each stone, creating a setting completely unique to each piece. The chevron shape is formed by hand, then passed through the silver bath multiple times to build up a thick electroformed silver layer. The recessed areas are oxidized for contrast and depth.
A Note on Stone Variation
Amethyst is a natural stone and each piece will vary slightly in tone, shape, and surface texture. Your ring will be similar to the one shown but entirely one of a kind. Note: amethyst can fade with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Store away from windows.
Care
Amethyst is a relatively durable stone. Remove before swimming, bathing, or applying lotions and perfumes. Store dry and away from prolonged direct sunlight. A light buff with a silver polishing cloth will restore the bright silver surfaces if desired.
