Description

Raw clear quartz, each stone catching and refracting light from a different angle, arranged in a V and set in electroformed silver. The transparency of the stone and the brightness of the silver amplify each other. The oxidized recesses between stone cups ground the ring and stop it from floating. Clear and precise without being cold.

Clear quartz is associated with clarity, focus, and amplification. It is the birthstone for April and is connected to the crown chakra. Wear it when you need to feel clear and present.

Why Clear Quartz

Clear quartz is silicon dioxide, one of the most abundant minerals on earth. Its transparency comes from the absence of impurities, and its crystal structure refracts light in ways that shift with angle and illumination. It is the birthstone for April. No mystical claims. Just a stone with an endlessly readable character.

Raw Clear Quartz Chevron Ring: Materials & Specifications

  • Stone: Raw clear quartz, transparent to semi-transparent, natural unpolished crystal surface. Stones arranged in a V-chevron shape.
  • Stone size: Approximately 3 to 5mm each
  • Stone count: Calibrated by ring size, typically 5 to 9 stones. Adjusted so the chevron arc sits flat and comfortable on the finger without wrapping into the finger gap. A size 7 typically carries 7 stones.
  • Setting: Individual electroformed silver cup settings, each stone nestled in its own formed cup with organic oxidized texture
  • Metal: Electroformed copper base finished through multiple passes in a professional silver bath, building a thick, durable electroformed silver layer. Oxidized recesses between stone cups for depth and contrast.
  • Band: Thin delicate electroformed band with multi-layer electroformed silver finish

How This Handmade Clear Quartz Ring Is Made

Each stone is hand-selected for clarity and crystal character before the ring is built up around it through an electrolytic copper electroforming process. The copper grows directly around each stone, creating a setting completely unique to each piece. The chevron shape is formed by hand, then passed through the silver bath multiple times to build up a thick electroformed silver layer. The recessed areas are oxidized for contrast and depth.

A Note on Stone Variation

Clear quartz is a natural stone and each piece will vary slightly in transparency, inclusions, and surface character. Your ring will be similar to the one shown but entirely one of a kind.

Care

Clear quartz is a durable stone. Remove before swimming, bathing, or applying lotions and perfumes. Store dry. A light buff with a silver polishing cloth will restore the bright silver surfaces if desired.

Gift Packaging

Ships gift-ready in natural packaging with a handwritten note card. Add a personal message in the order notes at checkout.

  • Shipping: USPS First Class with tracking.
  • Returns: 30 days, unworn, in original packaging. Buyer pays return shipping.

Shipping Policy

SHIPPING POLICY

Pieces at Blackbird & Sage Studio are handcrafted in Santa Fe, some are made to order. Below are some of the current processing times before the piece is ready to ship.
  • Ready Made items ship out in 1 - 3 business days - these include most necklaces, beaded bracelets, ready made and ready to ship rings, & key chains.
  • Made to Order items ship in about a week - these are most rings, & some earrings & necklaces.
  • Bracelets and detailed pieces are more labor intensive and require a longer production time - they generally ship out in 7 - 14 days but check the listing for specific processing and shipping dates.
  • Processing times are generally listed in each item description.
All orders will be shipped with an accompanying tracking number.   DOMESTIC (US) ORDERS
  • Free Shipping - Orders over $75 are sent USPS First Class Ground Advantage at no charge.
  • Shipping - Orders under $75 are charged by weight. Methods and rates vary and chosen by the customer at checkout.
  • Upgraded Shipping - Available at checkout. Rates are automatically calculated by the shipping carrier so you are never overcharged for shipping.
ORDERS & ADDRESSES All orders are shipped to the address that you provide. Please verify your address carefully during checkout. For those instances where a purchase has been made but the shipping address is incorrect, please send a message to hello@blackbirdsagestudio.com ASAP. For your protection, your order will be cancelled and refunded so that you can reorder with the correct address.

Refund Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at hello@blackbirdsagestudio.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 245 Casados St, Apt A, Santa Fe, NM, 87501. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Return shipping labels incur a flat rate of $5. You can always contact us for any return question at hello@blackbirdsagestudio.com.

Damages and issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Exceptions / non-returnable items Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on custom made, custom commission, sale items or gift cards. Made-to-order items from standard listings are eligible for return. Custom commissions, specific stone requests, and special orders are non-returnable. Exchanges The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. If items from a promotional bundle are returned, the order may be recalculated without the promotional discount.   European Union 14 day cooling off period Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
