The Details: Materials & Craft

Gemstones: 3 raw emerald stones (natural, unpolished with organic shape variations)
Accents: Bronze wire-wrapped details around each stone
Metal: Electroformed copper with hand-hammered texture
Finish: Antique copper (warm, aged patina with darker tones)
Band Width: Approximately 6–10mm with organic variations
Process: Handcrafted using traditional electroforming and metalworking techniques

Each cuff is grown through electroforming—a slow process that deposits solid copper directly around the stones over several hours. The band is then hand-hammered one strike at a time, creating organic texture and movement. Bronze wire is carefully wrapped around each raw emerald, adding warmth and mixed-metal detail. The antique copper finish creates depth and character from the start. No two bracelets are identical.

Comfortable for all-day wear. The hand-hammered copper cuff features a slight opening that allows for gentle adjustability. The three raw emerald stones sit raised with bronze wire-wrapped accents and textured copper surrounding them. Perfect for wearing alone or stacking with other cuffs.

• 0.5 inch for a snug fit
• 0.75 inch for a loose, comfortable fit

Care Instructions

This bracelet features an antique copper finish with warm, aged patina. The darker tones are part of the design and will continue to develop character over time. To maintain the antique finish, gently wipe with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh polishing, as this will remove the aged patina. To deepen the natural patina, simply wear it—your body’s natural oils will enhance the color. Avoid prolonged water exposure and remove during heavy activity, swimming, or showering. Cuffs are adjustable but avoid excessive bending. Raw emerald is softer than polished gemstones—treat gently and avoid impact.

Shipping Policy

SHIPPING POLICY

Pieces at Blackbird & Sage Studio are handcrafted in Santa Fe, some are made to order. Below are some of the current processing times before the piece is ready to ship.
  • Ready Made items ship out in 1 - 3 business days - these include most necklaces, beaded bracelets, ready made and ready to ship rings, & key chains.
  • Made to Order items ship in about a week - these are most rings, & some earrings & necklaces.
  • Bracelets and detailed pieces are more labor intensive and require a longer production time - they generally ship out in 7 - 14 days but check the listing for specific processing and shipping dates.
  • Processing times are generally listed in each item description.
All orders will be shipped with an accompanying tracking number.   DOMESTIC (US) ORDERS
  • Free Shipping - Orders over $75 are sent USPS First Class Ground Advantage at no charge.
  • Shipping - Orders under $75 are charged by weight. Methods and rates vary and chosen by the customer at checkout.
  • Upgraded Shipping - Available at checkout. Rates are automatically calculated by the shipping carrier so you are never overcharged for shipping.
ORDERS & ADDRESSES All orders are shipped to the address that you provide. Please verify your address carefully during checkout. For those instances where a purchase has been made but the shipping address is incorrect, please send a message to hello@blackbirdsagestudio.com ASAP. For your protection, your order will be cancelled and refunded so that you can reorder with the correct address.

Refund Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at hello@blackbirdsagestudio.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 245 Casados St, Apt A, Santa Fe, NM, 87501. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Return shipping labels incur a flat rate of $5. You can always contact us for any return question at hello@blackbirdsagestudio.com.

Damages and issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Exceptions / non-returnable items Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on custom made, custom commission, sale items or gift cards. Made-to-order items from standard listings are eligible for return. Custom commissions, specific stone requests, and special orders are non-returnable. Exchanges The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. If items from a promotional bundle are returned, the order may be recalculated without the promotional discount.   European Union 14 day cooling off period Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.
