Description

This raw quartz lariat necklace is built from the ground up with intention. An agate slice acts as the slider, the chain threading through it so the whole piece adjusts by pulling, settling close to the navel at full length. Below the agate, pyrite beads and sandalwood beads connect down to a 1.5 inch raw quartz point electroformed in copper with brass accents, each material chosen for its warmth and its contrast. Quartz for clarity, pyrite for grounding and warmth, sandalwood for its earthy quiet, agate for the slice of banded stone that holds it all together. This is a piece for the person who wants their jewelry to tell a story without having to explain it.

Quartz is associated with clarity, amplification, and focus. Crown chakra. Wear it when you need to feel clear and present.

Why Quartz

Quartz is silicon dioxide, one of the most abundant minerals on earth, formed in a wide range of geological environments from igneous to metamorphic rock. Its clarity comes from its highly ordered crystal structure. The raw point form reflects the natural hexagonal growth habit of quartz crystals. Long used across cultures as a clarity and amplification stone. Crown chakra. No mystical claims. Just a genuinely beautiful mineral with a meaning that fits real life.

Raw Quartz Lariat Necklace: Materials & Specifications

  • Slider: Natural agate slice, banded, threads the chain for adjustable length.
  • Accent beads: Two pyrite beads and sandalwood beads connecting the slider to the pendant.
  • Stone: Natural raw quartz point, approximately 38mm (1.5 inch), electroformed in copper with brass accents. Each point is unique in clarity and form.
  • Metal: Electroformed copper setting with brass accents. Antique finish with living patina.
  • Cord: Adjustable slide lariat, 14 to 24 inch range. Sits close to the navel at full length.
  • Origin: Handcrafted in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

How This Handmade Crystal Necklace Is Made

Each raw quartz lariat is made to order in my small Santa Fe studio. I hand-select every quartz point for its clarity and raw form, electroform copper directly around the crystal with brass accents, then assemble the agate slider, pyrite beads, and sandalwood beads by hand. No mass production, no shortcuts. Every piece is one of a kind.

A Note on Stone Variation

Because these are natural stones, the agate slice, quartz point, and pyrite beads each vary in color, pattern, and form. No two pieces are identical.

Care

Remove before swimming, showering, or applying lotions. Store dry. Keep sandalwood beads away from prolonged moisture. Polish copper and brass with a soft cloth to maintain warmth or let the patina deepen naturally over time.

Gift Packaging

Every order arrives gift-ready with natural materials and a handwritten note card. Add your message in the order notes.

  • Processing: ~1 week, made to order.
  • Shipping: USPS First Class with tracking.
  • Returns: Accepted within 30 days, unworn, in original packaging. Buyer pays return shipping.

Shipping Policy

SHIPPING POLICY

Pieces at Blackbird & Sage Studio are handcrafted in Santa Fe, some are made to order. Below are some of the current processing times before the piece is ready to ship.
  • Ready Made items ship out in 1 - 3 business days - these include most necklaces, beaded bracelets, ready made and ready to ship rings, & key chains.
  • Made to Order items ship in about a week - these are most rings, & some earrings & necklaces.
  • Bracelets and detailed pieces are more labor intensive and require a longer production time - they generally ship out in 7 - 14 days but check the listing for specific processing and shipping dates.
  • Processing times are generally listed in each item description.
All orders will be shipped with an accompanying tracking number.   DOMESTIC (US) ORDERS
  • Free Shipping - Orders over $75 are sent USPS First Class Ground Advantage at no charge.
  • Shipping - Orders under $75 are charged by weight. Methods and rates vary and chosen by the customer at checkout.
  • Upgraded Shipping - Available at checkout. Rates are automatically calculated by the shipping carrier so you are never overcharged for shipping.
ORDERS & ADDRESSES All orders are shipped to the address that you provide. Please verify your address carefully during checkout. For those instances where a purchase has been made but the shipping address is incorrect, please send a message to hello@blackbirdsagestudio.com ASAP. For your protection, your order will be cancelled and refunded so that you can reorder with the correct address.

Refund Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at hello@blackbirdsagestudio.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 245 Casados St, Apt A, Santa Fe, NM, 87501. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Return shipping labels incur a flat rate of $5. You can always contact us for any return question at hello@blackbirdsagestudio.com.

Damages and issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Exceptions / non-returnable items Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on custom made, custom commission, sale items or gift cards. Made-to-order items from standard listings are eligible for return. Custom commissions, specific stone requests, and special orders are non-returnable. Exchanges The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. If items from a promotional bundle are returned, the order may be recalculated without the promotional discount.   European Union 14 day cooling off period Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
