Description
Soft blue-violet tanzanite, silky and shifting, set in the curve of an electroformed copper crescent. Tanzanite moves between blue and violet depending on the light and angle, and against antique copper that shift reads extraordinary, cool and warm at once, mysterious and quietly luminous. This is a ring for the ones drawn to something rare, something that changes as you move through the day. The open adjustable band fits a wide range of sizes and the stone is striking enough to wear alone.
Tanzanite is associated with transformation, intuition, and spiritual insight. It is connected to the third eye and crown chakras, linked to clarity of vision, higher awareness, and inner truth. December birthstone. Wear it when you need to feel clear, perceptive, and aligned.
Why Tanzanite
Tanzanite is a variety of the mineral zoisite found in only one place on earth — a small mining area near Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Its remarkable blue-violet color and strong pleochroism, the ability to show different colors from different angles, make it one of the most distinctive gemstones in the world. It was discovered in 1967 and introduced to the jewelry market by Tiffany and Co., who named it after its country of origin. Tanzanite is also a December birthstone alongside turquoise and zircon. No mystical claims. Just a genuinely rare and beautiful stone with a meaning that fits real life.

How This Handmade Tanzanite Moon Ring Is Made
Each tanzanite cabochon is hand-selected for its color depth and blue-violet shift before the copper crescent is built up around it through an electrolytic electroforming process. The copper grows organically around the stone and setting, creating a granular textured surface completely unique to each piece. The antique finish warms the copper and creates a striking contrast with the cool blue-violet stone.
A Note on Stone Variation
Tanzanite is a natural stone and each cabochon will vary in the balance of blue to violet and depth of color. Your ring will be similar to the one shown but entirely one of a kind.
Care
Tanzanite is relatively soft compared to other gemstones — avoid hard impacts and store carefully. Remove before swimming, bathing, or applying lotions and perfumes. Store dry.
